Fall 26 Introduction to Deafblindness

This on-line course is an introduction to Deafblindness and its impact on learning and development. It is an overview of the sensory systems and issues that arise when an individual has combined loss of vision and hearing. Emphais is on the unique needs of the individual with deaf blindness and on effective intervention strategies.

Required materials include "Understanding Deafblindness: Issues, Perspectives, and Strategies" and "Interveners in the Classroom."
